Trick or Treat!

Trick or Treating on Capitol Hill is always fun. We hit the famous East Capitol Street with our buddy Jack to get some loot.

On a rainy day, Mommy tests out her new camera

Rain showers came to DC this weekend, so our outdoor plans were thwarted. I had the chance to try out my sweet new camera that Hunter and Clint got me for my birthday. And Hunter had the chance to do what he does best, play and be cute!

So with less than 2 months to go until Hunter's little sister arrives, we are slowly, but surely getting her room ready. Last night, with the skillful help of our friend Chris from Austin, we assembled the red crystal chandelier that will hang in her room. We brought it down to the basement so we could assemble it, watch Mad Men, and let Chris and Clint enjoy some cocktails. It turned our great, but is MUCH larger than expected. We left off about half of the embellishments because it was getting to be way too formal. Stay tuned for photos of it hanging in her room.

Today, we travelled to the Island of Sodor (Strasburg, PA) to visit Thomas the Tank Engine and his Friends. The fun day included a ride on one of Thomas 6 coaches. We rode several other small trains, and met Sir Topham Hat.
